What is a guaranteed departure?

A guaranteed departure is a date that is already confirmed: you book and pay directly on the website. “On request” departures are confirmed one by one before anything is charged. Right now there are 1067 guaranteed departures published across 21 itineraries. There are also 6 dates on request.

Can I travel alone?

Yes. The guaranteed departures of our Holy Land programs run from 1 traveler, with a Spanish-speaking guide. If you travel alone, each departure page shows the single-room price.

How is my place confirmed?

Each departure page says whether it is confirmed instantly (guaranteed departure: you book and pay online) or goes on request (we confirm your place before charging anything). There is no fixed turnaround: it depends on the programme and the date.

How much do I pay to book?

The minimum deposit depends on how far ahead of the departure date you book:

  • 180 days before or more: 20 % deposit, balance 60 days before departure
  • Between 90 and 179 days before: 30 % deposit, balance 60 days before departure
  • Between 45 and 89 days before: 50 % deposit, balance 30 days before departure
  • Less than 45 days before: full payment when booking
  • Minimum deposit: 300 USD.
  • Some seasons set their own deposit (it may be non-refundable): you will see it on the departure page and at checkout before confirming.

Can I pay in instalments?

Booking more than 180 days ahead you can pay in up to 7 instalments.

  • Between 90 and 179 days before: up to 3 instalments.
  • Less than 90 days before: deposit and balance by the deadline, no instalments.
  • The exact options are calculated at checkout before you confirm.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancellation charges depend on the season of your departure. Policies in force:

  • Estricta (applies in: Temporada alta): 60 days before or more: 10 % charge; 45 days before or more: 30 % charge; 30 days before or more: 50 % charge; 15 days before or more: 75 % charge; less than 15 days before: 100 % charge; 30 % deposit, non-refundable.
  • Flexible (applies in: Temporada baja): 30 days before or more: 0 % charge; 15 days before or more: 25 % charge; 7 days before or more: 50 % charge; less than 7 days before: 100 % charge; 20 % deposit, refundable.
  • Moderada (applies in: Temporada media): 45 days before or more: 0 % charge; 30 days before or more: 25 % charge; 15 days before or more: 50 % charge; 7 days before or more: 75 % charge; less than 7 days before: 100 % charge; 25 % deposit, refundable.
  • Muy estricta (applies in: Temporada muy alta): 90 days before or more: 25 % charge; 60 days before or more: 50 % charge; 30 days before or more: 75 % charge; less than 30 days before: 100 % charge; 50 % deposit, non-refundable.
  • Each departure page shows the policy that applies before you book. We recommend travel insurance.

What currency are prices in?

Prices are published and charged in US dollars (USD). If the website shows you an amount in another currency, it is an approximate reference.

Do you organize trips for parishes and groups?

Yes. On the groups page you can request a tailor-made proposal for your parish, school or community by telling us the destination, dates and number of people.
